Families interested in Maple Nest, Maple Home, or a custom package are invited to begin with a complimentary meet-and-greet to make sure Maple feels like the right fit.

Newborn Package · Ages 0–8 Weeks

Maple Nest

Expert newborn care and lactation support in your home during the first eight weeks of your baby's life

The earliest weeks with a newborn are precious, exhausting, and full of questions. Maple Nest brings expert newborn care and lactation support directly to your home during the first eight weeks of your baby's life. At the end of your package, families are warmly invited to continue care through a Maple Home membership.

What's Included
  • Direct access by message, phone, and video during business hours
  • After-hours phone access for urgent concerns
  • 1 prenatal virtual visit
  • 4 in-home visits addressing newborn care, physical exams, weight monitoring, feeding and lactation support in the first 8 weeks:
    • Newborn exam (1–3 days after hospital nursery discharge)
    • Weight check and lactation support at 2 weeks
    • 4-week visit
    • 8-week visit
  • Additional medically necessary visits arranged as needed

Our flagship membership — comprehensive pediatric primary care

What's Included
  • Direct access by messaging, phone, and video during business hours
  • After-hours phone access for urgent concerns
  • Sick visits via telehealth, with in-person visits if appropriate
  • Preventive care through well child visits according to the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) schedule:
    • 2 months
    • 4 months
    • 6 months
    • 9 months
    • 12 months
    • 15 months
    • 18 months
    • 24 months
    • 30 months
    • 3 years old and annually thereafter
  • School, camp, and sports physicals and forms
  • Growth, developmental and behavioral screenings
  • Parenting guidance including questions about nutrition, development, sleep, behavior, and more
  • Chronic care management for conditions like asthma, eczema, ADHD, allergies, and others
  • Complex care conditions managed collaboratively with specialists
  • Referrals to specialists and therapists if appropriate

Tailored to Your Family

Custom Packages

Tailored packages for families with specific needs

Examples include:
  • ADHD Evaluation & Management

    Structured evaluation, ongoing medication management, school coordination, and behavioral guidance.

  • Newborn & Baby Support

    Feeding (breast and bottle), burping, bathing, diapering, cord care, soothing techniques, and what to expect in the first weeks.

  • Lactation Support
    • Home visit to assess and support latching, including weighted feed to assess intake and personalized feeding guidance
    • Return to work plan with customized pumping schedule and preparation recommendations
  • Introducing Solids

    First foods, allergen introduction, and guidance on purees vs. baby-led weaning.

  • Sleep Consultation

    Infant sleep optimization, sleep training, and sleep regressions.

  • Toilet Training Support

    Readiness assessment and troubleshooting resistance or regression.

  • Nutrition Support

    Guidance on nutrition, weight management, picky eating, and other feeding challenges.

  • Pre-Travel Consultations

    General and destination-specific travel health guidance, including recommended precautions and prescriptions when indicated.

  • Second Opinions

    A focused, unhurried consultation to review your child's diagnosis and management plan.

No Commitment Required

Single Visit*

Single visits for specific concerns, open to all families

Not ready for a membership? No problem. All single visits begin as a telehealth visit and if your child's symptoms clearly require an in-person exam, an in-person visit will be scheduled directly. If this is the case, the telehealth cost is applied toward the in-person visit cost and you won't pay twice. If we suspect in-person may be needed based on your child's symptoms before the telehealth visit, we'll let you know so you can plan accordingly.

Telehealth Visit
Up to 45 minutes.
Option 2
In-Person Visit
Up to 45 minutes. If an in-person examination is needed, the telehealth fee is applied toward the in-person visit cost, so you won't pay twice.
Conditions That Typically Require an In-Person Visit
  • Ear pain or suspected ear infection
  • Suspected pink eye with fever
  • Worrisome features associated with fever
  • Suspected strep throat
  • Cough or breathing concerns that need a listen

This list is not exhaustive and clinical judgment determines whether an in-person visit is appropriate.

If your child is experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room.

*Single visits are offered based on availability. Members always get priority scheduling.

What's Billed Separately
What May Carry an Additional Cost

The following are arranged and coordinated by Dr. Tsevdos when medically appropriate but billed separately from your service.

Rapid Testing
Tests like Strep and Flu, administered by Dr. Tsevdos. Significantly discounted for members.
Lab Tests
Ordered by Dr. Tsevdos, done at a local lab at your convenience. Billed to insurance or negotiated directly with our lab partners.
Imaging & Radiology
Ordered by Dr. Tsevdos, done at a local imaging facility at your convenience. Billed to insurance or negotiated directly with the facility.
Vaccines
Administered by Dr. Tsevdos directly when possible. Costs billed to your insurance, paid out of pocket, or accessed through a community vaccine clinic. Maple Home members only.

We will always be transparent about costs and work with each family to find the best payment option.

Newborn care is always delivered in your home, from your first visit through your last.
A Future Office
As our membership grows, we're planning a physical office in Brooklyn to complement in-home and virtual care.
Flexible Care as Maple Grows
Once our office opens, in-office visits will be available if preferred and home visits will remain available upon request for an additional home visit fee.
Outside Our Area
We may still be able to arrange an in-home visit for a separate travel fee. Reach out to inquire.
