Meet Dr. Despina Tsevdos
Dr. Tsevdos is a board-certified pediatrician, experienced medical educator, and Brooklyn mom. She created Maple Pediatrics because she wanted to practice pediatrics in a way that allows for more time, more continuity, and a closer relationship with families. The goal is simple: thoughtful, evidence-based care that is personal, accessible, and unrushed.
Maple Pediatrics is an independent, physician-owned practice. It is not part of a hospital system, insurance company, or large healthcare group. It is a small practice where families know their pediatrician and their pediatrician knows them, with the kind of continuity and relationship-based care that can be difficult to provide within the traditional healthcare system.

Simple, Predictable Membership
Maple Pediatrics is a membership-based practice. Families pay a monthly fee directly to the practice for the care included in their membership.
Membership is separate from insurance, so changing insurance does not mean changing your pediatrician.
Families should still keep health insurance for hospital care, emergency care, specialists, labs, imaging, medications, and other services outside Maple Pediatrics.
